We innovators are the bad guys.
We tell them what they do is wrong.
We tell them we know it better.
We tell them they have to change.
Wouldn’t it be much easier for all of us, if we just accept this unpleasant truth and stop wasting so much time for a more beautiful package?
Well, I think innovators are not bad naturally. Even because if you really want to innovate you will need to deal not only with technology but most importantly with people. Changing the technology or a organizational process is easy, the difficult part is when you need to change people’s assumptions or behaviors.
And if you want to change people instead of saying “you are wrong” you should try “hey man, I know you think it work like this, but what if we look at the problem from a different perspective?”.
